Lucknow — A major anti-encroachment drive was conducted by the joint police team and municipal teams in Zone 1 of Lucknow, targeting illegal street encroachments and haphazardly parked vehicles.
Under the directions of the Lucknow Police Commissioner, the operation was carried out jointly by ACP Kaisarbagh, the municipal corporation team, and the police from Kaisarbagh and Aminabad police stations.
On Latouche Road, vehicles parked indiscriminately on both sides of the street were removed using cranes by the police, while the municipal team seized goods from shops that had extended onto the road. ACP Kaisarbagh issued strict instructions to shopkeepers and traders, warning that no vehicles would be allowed to remain parked along either side of the road, and advised them to use the Aminabad parking facilities.
The operation saw active participation from the Station House Officers of Kaisarbagh and Aminabad, along with their police teams, ensuring smooth execution of the drive and maintaining public order during the clearance.
